We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers, assisting with various plumbing tasks and learning essential skills required for the trade.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Help with pipe threading, cutting, and fitting as directed by supervisors.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on job sites.
- Support the team in troubleshooting plumbing issues and performing necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at construction sites.
- Participate in training sessions to develop mechanical knowledge and skills relevant to plumbing.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on job sites.
Experience
- Basic understanding of mechanical concepts is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their proper usage is advantageous.
- Experience or knowledge in construction, HVAC systems, or welding is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks are beneficial.
- Previous experience as a maintenance person or carpenter can be helpful but is not required.
- A willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals is essential.
