General Description:
We are seeking a proactive Logistics Claim Specialist to join our team in Dalton, Georgia. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and resolve irregular situations in logistics operations, such as damages, losses, and discrepancies. This includes overseeing claim processes and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead the resolution of irregular logistics situations, including damages, losses, and discrepancies, by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Report issues to customers promptly and work with them to determine liability and responsibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the efficient handling of all logistics-related claims.
- Negotiate with external partners regarding claims and responsibility for irregular situations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports related to damages, losses, and claims.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce the occurrence of irregularities and improve logistics processes.
