Job Description
Top Skills:
1. Field Team requires to have the knowledge for Qualcomm tools like QXDM, QPST, XCAL.
2. KPI Analysis using tools like XCAP and QCAT.
3. Basic knowledge for SIP call flow and Wireshark tool.
The main function of a quality engineer is to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards. A typical quality engineer has the ability to read and interpret logs/KPIs, and evaluate product integrity and standards.
The Primary role for OS Members is as follows:
• Execution of the Samsung Internal Field Test Plan including Data Mobility, Call Processing, and Data Tput.
• Execution of tests using Qualcomm/Samsung tools, primary log analysis for upper layers which includes registration procedures, RLF KPI Analysis, and Data Tput KPI analysis.
• Reporting issues on Samsung Internal QC system and work with R&D to get the complete fix/analysis for this issue.
• Testing requires candidate to be in the field for ~4-5 days per week executing the Field Test Plan."
