JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for maintaining the egress of employees and guests, the safety & security of the Support Center, performing safety checks of the Support Center and critical systems, and plays a key role in the Support Center's Emergency Response Plan. Additionally, the position is required to provide support for field operations calling in with crisis situations, to report an incident, or to request assistance with restaurant security guards or security equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Duties & Responsibilities)
- Responsible for security system service.
- Troubleshoots problems with Security Equipment (DVR camera systems, camera systems, safes, alarm systems, back door alarms)
- Services call processing.
- Sends CCTV & Counterfeit Detector footage and research as needed.
- Monitors Support Center cameras, pedestrian traffic, loading dock traffic, signs in visitors, assists support center employees and guests as needed
- Performs safety and security checks of the entire Support Center and Test Kitchen.
- Makes Support Center ID badges for new employees and contractors.
- Issues day, week and badges.
- Removes all terminated employee’s badges from our systems.
- Responsible for Risk Management Hotline and intake of incident reports.
- Researches potential abuse identified by and/or DVR Alerts by remotely reviewing video of suspicious transactions.
- Backup lobby monitor and switchboard operator – possibility
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a police, security, or military related field a plus.
- First Aid and CPR training a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain South Carolina Licensed Armed Security Officer
- Required Knowledge and Skills

- Ability to be personable or authoritative depending on the situation.

- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues.
- Sense of urgency.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able and willing to escort employees to parking facility after dark.
- Must be able to walk the entire Support Center and Test Kitchen in a single shift.
- Occasional crawling is required to reach some spaces in mechanical areas of the building and climbing on a ladder
