JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain and Procurement functions by performing supply chain activities, including Inventory Management, Price Management, and Database management and analysis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Key Responsibilities)
Distributor Management
- Coordinate distributor troubleshooting issues with CH Robinson and other distributors for all service level issues, resolve disputes and communicate to stores, franchisees and field leaders as required. Evaluate daily inventory, monthly usage, and business review reports. Perform price audits as needed.
- Maintain regional program database (produce and CO2 distributors) updating all store changes for current suppliers and organization changes.
Data Management:
- Retrieve detail data from distributors and internal sources for service level analysis and trending metrics, including freight management, delivery service levels and shipping efficiencies throughout the supply chain for all items shipped through systems distributor.
- FSMA tracking management for traceability for CH Robinson and non CH Robinson produce distributors.
- Frequent point of contact with Supply Chain, master distributors and produce distributor representatives regarding service and inventory issues. Manage and evaluate service level reports and related dashboards.
- Store openings, closings, and transitions: Accumulate and evaluate applicable distributors & con- tact information for new owners, add or remove from ArrowStream Central for future tracking. Follow up with ArrowStream weekly based on exception reports and store level feed for unmapped locations.
- Point of contact for incoming miscellaneous deposits from suppliers and distributors, as needed - Product samples reimbursement, supplier reimbursements.
Manages payment process with McLane miscellaneous inventory billings and code to appropriate function as needed.
- Contract administrator - Office supply, travel and CO2 programs; new employee set up and removal for terminated employees. Contract management and troubleshooting, as needed.
Perform cost analysis to evaluate savings opportunities within the supply chain, as needed.
Hotline follow up for store level service issues with distributors. Coordinate resolution and communication between distributors and operations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business or a related field strongly preferred.
Experience:
2 years of Supply Chain experience preferred.
