Adapted Private Swim Lesson Instructor
Doylestown, PA | Part Time, Hourly | $15.50 per hour | Saturdays: 9am-12pm and Sundays: 12pm-2pm

What is needed for this job as an Adapted Private Swim Lesson Instructor:
- 18 years of age
- Have demonstrated experience working with children in adapted activities (water activities/swimming preferred)
- Have swimming experience
- Are interested in...
- Special Olympics
- Physical rehabilitation
- Physical, Recreational, and Occupational therapies
- Kinesiology
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
- Able to do physical activities: climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity
The responsibilities we will trust you with as an Adapted Private Swim Lesson Instructor:
- Working with individuals with disabilities to help them achieve their swim goals
- Creating and working towards client goals' developed at the beginning of the session
- Develop strong relationships with participants and their families through written and oral communication and actions
- Provide feedback to participants and parents/guardians on individual performance.
- Maintain confidentiality of all participants
