Passionate about teaching the lifesaving skill of swimming? We are looking for individuals, age 16 to serve as swim instructors. As a swim instructor, you develop important skills such as communication, leadership and responsibility that will serve you for a lifetime!

What is needed to be a Swim Instructor:
- Experience with kids and passionate about teaching children to swim
- Ability to pass American Red Cross CPR Certification
- Age 16
- Ability to complete our in-water skills assessment
The responsibilities we will trust you with:
- Working with groups and individuals to help them achieve their swim-skill goals
- Ensuring that lessons are conducted in accordance with the YMCA's internal lesson plans and policies
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for the students to thrive in
