What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehabilitation Technician position at 100 Georgetown Hospital System?
Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Day - 8 hour shift (United States of America) Join Team Tidelands and help people live better lives through better health! Provides support in patient care and in carrying out therapeutic activities as directed by the therapist in a team environment consistent with professional practices and ethical standards. Provides cleaning and preparation of treatment areas and equipment as established by the department. The employee will complete other duties as assigned. Demonstrate the ability to perform therapeutic activities as directed by and under supervision of a licensed therapist Demonstrate the ability to perform basic patient monitoring (i.e. blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate), equipment set-up, and knowledge of precautions / contraindications of therapeutic techniques and or modalities. Provide daily cleaning and preparation of treatment areas / equipment as established by the department. Perform and completes end of month cleaning, necessary logs, and maintains clinic inventory. EDUCATION: High School Degree Required EXPERIENCE: Experience working in healthcare setting with direct patient contact preferred LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to utilize therapy equipment in a Tidelands Health rehabilitation setting to provide treatment and procedures as directed is preferred.
