Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Barn Staff / Wranglers to join our team. This role involves caring for animals, maintaining the barn, and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both livestock and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and farm operations, with the ability to operate various types of equipment.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and health monitoring.
- Brushing, tacking and untacking of multiple horses in a timely manner.
- Daily paddock cleaning
- Assist in the maintenance of barns, pastures, and other facilities.
- Ensure safety of all riders while out on trail rides.
- Trail maintenance and general upkeep of barn and its surrounding property
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols while working with machinery and animals.
Qualifications
- Prior horseback riding experience is preferred.
- Good customer service skills are essential to giving our guests an amazing vacation.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience operating farm machinery is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to listen and follow directions to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently or with others at a consistent pace.
- A passion for animal husbandry, and outdoor work is highly desirable.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent is required.
