The distribution associate will be responsible for inventory control, receiving and shipping product orders, managing returns, and communicating with internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse environment and possess strong organizational skills. They should also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work well independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments and verify order accuracy
Store products in their designated locations
Pick and pack customer orders
Assist with inventory management tasks such as cycle counts and stock counts
Communicate with other departments to ensure timely processing of customer orders
Respond to customer inquiries and requests for information
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to order fulfillment
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order fulfillment efficiency
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational excellence
Adhere to quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Experience working in a warehouse environment with heavy machinery
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate effectively with others
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines
Physical stamina to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during long hours of operation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Flexibility to work night, weekend, or holiday shifts as needed
