The Lead is responsible to oversee slotting strategies in the warehouse in the safest, most cost effective,and operationally efficient manner coordinating the workflow for a team of employees in the distribution
center and maximize production efficiency through effective labor management analysis, establishment of
engineered labor standards, performance tracking and coaching while maintaining system related logic
that directly impacts DC labor performance and staff planning.

Responsibilities:
• As part of a collaborative team, participate in the ongoing design, configuration and reporting for the Labor Management System (LMS).
• Solve Labor Management System issues as needed, identifying gaps in the design, and exploring
alternatives to mitigate any gaps and drive the prompt resolution of issues.
• Identify critical reporting needs to develop in the SCI framework that ensure functionality and drive
operational efficiencies while providing visibility to managers not only within the DC, but also to NA
Distribution leadership.
• Serve as a technical resource for DC operations.
• Partner with Distribution Center management and continuous improvement LEAN teams to identify,
implement and support process improvement projects focused on cost reduction and improvements
in safety and quality. Create and recommend optimal solutions that meet the needs of senior
management or business leaders.
• Provides training throughout DC to all team members, and answer questions.
• Applies analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control operations and processes
as requested by business owners on an ad-hoc basis.
• Determine Placement of new items in the warehouse.
• Create range group slotting maintenance layouts using best business rules.
• Ensure that all active items have a forward pick location assignment or dynamic location
assignment.
• Use item forecast information to assist inbound and outbound functional areas With slotting best
pick paths
• Analyze aisle movements and make necessary adjustments to enhance productivity & capacity.
• Balance efficiencies between shipping and receiving to maximize overall capacity & efficiency.
• Create layout/environment that minimizes damage.
• Maintain slotting related system logic and suggest modifications as necessary.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED, required.
• Forklift Certification, required.
• 3 years of manufacturing, distribution, or related work experience.
