Summary of Job Responsibilities:
Performs all production activities in compliance with applicable regulations (GMP, GDP), BD quality standards, policies and procedures.
Works efficiently to meet required product specifications and deadlines while maintaining a safe work environment.
Contributes to the continuous improvement program by identifying cost savings, quality improvements or safety enhancements.
Maintains appropriate documentation for all processes performed.
Communicates regularly with supervisors and peers to address issues, problems solve and share standard processes.
Follows all safety requirements including proper lifting techniques, waste handling and housekeeping.
Participates as an active member of a multifunctional team.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
High School Degree or GED or equivalent experience
Prior manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to read/write English documents,
Basic math skills,
Verbal/written communication skills,
Problem solving skill,
Decision making, basic computer skills,
Ability to work independently,
Strong interpersonal skills,
Good attendance record,
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.,
Basic troubleshooting skills
Work Environment:
BD is a smoke-free campus. Smoking and the use of electronic smoking devices, marijuana, or tobacco products are not allowed on BD property, grounds or in the parking areas. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy
False eyelashes, press-on fingernails, and Jewelry is not allowed on the production floor including dermals. Any associate wearing dermals will be required to cover them while working on the production floor.
Shoes are required to be Steel Toe and non-slip for all associates while on the production floor for safety purposes.
