Production Technician

Shift: This role is 5th Shift, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM

Hourly Rate: $25.65 an hour $1.40 shift differential

Conagra Brands is looking for Production Technicians to join our growing team! You will troubleshoot, repair and operate our production equipment. You will work onsite at our plant in Waterloo, Iowa and report to a Team Lead. Known as "The Pudding Plant", our Waterloo Plant produces Snack Pack Pudding and David's Sunflower Seeds for consumers all across the world!

Starting Pay: $25.65/hour - $27.90/hour

2-2-3 schedule | 7pm - 7am

Essential Functions:

• Perform product checks to verify quality measures.

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain assigned equipment.

• Complete equipment sanitation and follow all safety guidelines.

• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly equipment inspections and maintenance tasks.

• Communicate any safety, quality or operational issues.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing facility

• 1 year of experience repairing machinery

Work Environment Requirements:

• You will work in a manufacturing environment with varying conditions including moderate noise levels.

• You will move within office and manufacturing facilities, write by hand and keyboard, and perform general office functions.

• You will communicate by speech and hearing by phone and in person.

• Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.

• General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
