The Opportunity As an IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA), you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications: What You’ll Work On Software Development lifecycle: Author documentation within the software development lifecycle and ensure alignment with software quality. Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed system requirements. Technical Specifications: Write comprehensive technical specifications that developers and IT teams can use to build and implement solutions. Documentation: Create detailed documentation of system requirements, processes, and changes in accordance with Abbott’s software development lifecycle Quality testing: Coordinate and conduct testing to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the specified requirements. Project Management: Assist in managing projects, including timelines, resources, and budgets. Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, developers, business, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of solutions. Compliance: Ensure that system changes comply with Regulated industry standards and regulations. Change Management Documentation: Document changes to systems and processes, including the rationale for changes, implementation steps, and impact analysis. Required Qualifications/Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Over 3 years of IT experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related field. Project Support: Proven experience in supporting digital technology projects. SDLC Knowledge: Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, with excellent documentation skills. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels. Technical Knowledge: Proficient understanding of IT systems, software development, and data analysis tools. Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions. Analytical Skills: Expertise in analyzing complex business processes and data.
