JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
Coordinate trailer inventory management, inbound/outbound shipments, input receipts against ASN, manage return container system, and ensure all CTPAT requirements are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and Coordinate Daily Route Manifest Log.
- Verify Receiving and Shipping Windows are met- communicate concerns to supervisor
- Updates Hot Parts Board when expedite parts arrive.
- Manage the Dock and Yard Inventory Trailer movements to support production and supermarket lines replenishment.
- Manage Trailer Tracking Sheet.
- Manage and maintain accurate paperwork to support part inventory of trailers in yard.
- Maintains records of seat shipping system (BOS requirements)
- Coordinate any logistics to and from outside warehouse/s.
- Manage the input of incoming receipts on a regular timely basis.
- Diligently maintains records of packing slips
- Maintains records of returnable containers
- Maintain system for accurately tracking Truckload Utilization. (TUMS)
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Maintain all CTPAT requirements.
- Maintain all BOS requirements for shipping, receiving, and transportation management
- Special Projects as requested.
- Any other job-related duty as requested by leadership.
Health & Safety
- Actively participates in Health/Safety/Environmental investigations and the 8D process in order to develop root cause analysis for problem resolution as required.
- Ensure required Safety Audits are complete for you and your team.
- Reporting accidents, occupational illnesses, and HSE&E emergencies, and inform supervisor of known HSE&E conditions which could adversely affect other team members, assets or to the public.
- Ensures compliance with all safety procedures and ensures safe working procedures in assigned production areas.
- Coordinates any required safety and/or ergonomic training with the Health & Safety Coordinator.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years shipping/receiving experience in a JIT manufacturing environment. Knowledge of MFG Pro or equivalent.
- Computer experience (to include Excel spreadsheet and word processing)
- Experience with ERP systems
Multi Task Skills:
Associate must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal areas to support JIT.
Communication Skills:
Associate must proficient and professional communication skills to company personnel as well as logistical suppliers.
