Summary
Position is for a QAD Technical Lead onsite in Plymouth, MI.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide service delivery functions/activities in Americas region
- Engaging in medium to large scale IT projects within the manufacturing and supply chain functions to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Acts as a liaison between Adient plant and business teams
- Ensures that support teams are following established processes and policies
- Ensures the proper handover of functional specifications and change requests to Managed Service (MS) vendor development team
- Assists in resource planning/resource augmentation as per project demands
- Assists team in solving the incidents on priority
- Uses KPI metrics and reports to identify process deficiencies.
- Performs activities related to CI initiatives
- Helps in determining the business impact of incident/problem
- Provides required assistance to MS vendor team to quickly restore the service to customer
- Works with problem management team and ensures that permanent fixes are deployed
- Assists in planning the deployments and configuration changes to current production environment
- Presents various metrics to management and proposes continuous improvement ideas.
- Escalates the incidents/problems as required
- Co-ordinate the changes that span across multiple applications with respective application owners
- Coordination with Internal Compliance Team and ensure there is no deviations in the process.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science with 8-10 years of experience in QAD ERP applications field and 5-8 years in leading the projects/teams.
- QAD ERP full cycle project delivery experience is a must.
- Certifications in Project management , ITIL and Agile is an advantage
- Knowledge of MFG/SCM applications and various interfaces used
- Good leadership qualities/managerial skills
- Good communication skills/follow up skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with remote teams in different regions/countries
- Must be well organized and result oriented
- Automotive experience preferred
- Experience in Sox Compliance process and Controls are value added.
