About the Role :

The Implementation Manager coordinates implementation of new practices from initial kick off through go live and beyond. The Implementation Manager develops implementation plans, and measures success against organizational / team goals.

As an implementation manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple new practice implementations at the same time with varying degrees of complexity while meeting required timelines, as well as maintaining an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Sound services, business and implementation processes, and applications.

The Details : This is a remote role that will require an ability to travel with an estimated average of 25%, with trips lasting 1-2 days. Though rare, some weekend travel may be required.

In this role, you will be responsible for :

New program and service line implementations

  • Project management of new practice implementations. This will entail :
  • Facilitating a clean hand-off from the sales phase to implementation phase, providing leadership for the overall implementation, to program and regional leadership handoff post implementation

  • Customizing the project plan template for each partner by understanding the specific needs and timelines of each implementation
  • Planning, scheduling, documenting, and tracking project plan updates and action items in project management software to move implementation work forward
  • Ensuring clear accountabilities and follow through on action plans by working cooperatively with business stakeholders and elevating concerns and issues appropriately
  • Acting as main point of contact for all implementation related activities, developing and delivering various communication plans, and driving thorough and efficient communication to all stakeholders
  • Managing the on-site discovery and client visits to ensure that the appropriate issues are being addressed
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills (both internal and external) that result in implementation survey scores of 4.5 or higher from internal and external customers
  • Commitment to getting the project done on time, while meeting 90% or greater completion of project plan and critical path tasks. This will require flexibility to assist with whatever needs to be done to make that happen
  • Bringing innovative and fresh ideas to implementations, challenging boundaries of how implementation managers and central service teams can deliver exceptional value to our partners

  • Knowledge :

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a related field such as operations management, business management, or healthcare management
  • Knowledge of relevant state and federal laws / regulations applicable to healthcare, including Joint Commission, CMS and HIPAA.
  • Knowledge of healthcare daily operations, specifically in the inpatient setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Adobe Acrobat and Smartsheet experience preferred
  • Experience :

  • 1-2 years in an inpatient healthcare environment directly related to operations management, project management and / or process improvement work
  • Pay Range : $85,000- $95,000 annually, plus a bonus opportunity. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience, geographic location, and the size / complexity of the programs being supported.
