ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications used by internal and external customers at Sound Physicians. The SoundConnect team builds applications used by clinical providers, staff, and external partners for patient management and billing.
The Details: This is a remote full-time, contract position with the potential to become permanent.

- Build and maintain web-based business applications and the back-end processes that support them.
- With the product owner, refine requirements and specifications to reflect the needs of our internal and external customers.
- Identify and implement process improvements as an active participant in the team’s agile software development processes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Front-end development: HTML, CSS, Typescript. We use the Vue framework for most of our front-end applications.
- Mobile development: We use the Ionic framework for cross-platform mobile app development.
- Back-end processes: .NET APIs, SQL databases, message queuing – we use NServiceBus and Azure function apps for message processing.
- Development tools: Visual Studio 2019/2022, VS Code, git, continuous integration and deployment tools.
- Azure: Your skill with Azure resources will support the team’s ongoing migration to Azure services.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- BA/BS in Business, Math or Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5 years of business application and database development
Pay Range:
- This position offers an hourly pay range between $50.00 - $80.00, considering the candidate’s experience and location.
