As Plant Superintendent at our Winston-Salem Assembly Plant, you’ll play a critical role in driving operational excellence, developing the next generation of leaders, and ensuring safe, efficient production of batteries that fuel the world’s mobility. What You’ll Do
As Plant Superintendent, you will:
- Lead and coach production supervisors and hourly teams to exceed performance and safety goals.
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics aligned to quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S tools to drive continuous improvement and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with Clarios environmental, safety, and quality standards including ISO 9001/IATF 16949.
- Develop future plant leaders through coaching, structured feedback, and performance management.
- Collaborate across functions to resolve issues, schedule production, and ensure customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or a related field. Or commensurate experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 7 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong communicator with the ability to motivate teams, manage conflict, and drive accountability.
- Track record of delivering results through metrics and continuous improvement.
Preferred
- Experience with Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma (Black Belt a plus).
- Automotive, battery, or high-volume production background.
- Prior military leadership experience is highly valued — veterans are encouraged to apply.
