What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Intern position at 1008 Amynta Agency Inc?

• Intern – Learn surety business and associated underwriting standards through assisting underwriters with file documentation, underwriting, basic financial analysis, and operational support.Learn to:
• Assist underwriters with underwriting, research and reports on new opportunities
• Help underwriters manage existing accounts/portfolio, including completeness and accuracy of information
• Populate electronic account folders
• Assist unit and follow for information updates as needed.
• Communicate proactively and effectively within the Surety unit; externally where appropriate (though not likely)
• Assist operations with bond bookings
• Populate “Amynta-supported” SRP system, including back-checks
• Daily monitoring/managing portfolio of accounts through CapIQ
• Populate ABS system as necessary
• Run reports and assist with projects as requested, and operational support.
