We are looking for a Head of Strategic Alliances to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Head of Data Center Operations and based in San Jose, C
Job Summary:
The Head of Strategic Alliances will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships that drive business growth and enhance our market presence. This role requires a proactive and collaborative individual who can identify opportunities, negotiate agreements, and foster long-term relationships with key partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with key partners to ensure mutual success and growth.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement partnership strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to integrate partner solutions and drive joint initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of partnerships, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new partnership opportunities.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise in partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10 years in B2B commercial roles, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or enterprise technology sectors. Experience managing utility partnerships or working with investor-owned utilities is preferred.
- Partner enablement: Proven ability to train and support external teams on complex technical and commercial offerings
- Sector knowledge: Familiarity with distributed generation, energy procurement models, and utility sales cycles, natural gas procurement
- Data center familiarity: Exposure to hyperscaler infrastructure, procurement criteria, or energy needs is a strong plus
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 25%
