We are looking for a Quality Technician to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Director of Quality and Yield Management and based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform quality function on night/weekend shift covering all BMCC manufacturing processes with special focus on IC and Cell component processing steps.
- Leading quality function during shift to promptly address production line down scenarios.
- Leading quality containment during production event that leading to product or incoming material quality issues. Perform material disposition during shift.
- Collecting data and perform data analysis to help prevent quality issues and line down situations.
- Understand and Make sure POA's are effective and adequately followed to prevent production issues.
- Communicate clearly to co-workers and send out daily reports to team.
- Escalate quality engineers and management and asking for help when in doubt.
Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED); technical certifications or relevant coursework with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing or related environment.
- Associate degree helpful but not required.
- Fast learner with can do attitude
- Hands on experience in thin-film processes helpful
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to technical issues.
- Ability to follow direction, meet deadline, and collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written skill set
- Adhere to safety requirements and ability to work in controlled environment wearing personal protective safety equipment (PPE).
