Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Full-time or Part-time Internal Medicine/Pediatrics board certified or eligible Physician to join our team on the Eastern Shore.
Riverside Medical Group provides comprehensive primary care, OB/Gyn and specialty services on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
We are seeking an internal medicine/pediatrics board certified or eligible physician to expand our primary care network. The ideal candidate is seeking to make a home and make a difference in a beautiful rural community.
In this role, the successful candidate will offer comprehensive outpatient services to patients from newborn to geriatrics. In addition to the outpatient clinic, the physician will round, perform initial exams and provide physician guidance for our well baby nursery at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital.

Education
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Certification(s) and License(s):
Licensed Medical Doctor – State of Virginia
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Required
Meet comprehensive and professional standards
Have a current, valid state of Virginia medical license or be eligible for one
Have a valid DEA controlled substance registration
Qualifications:
Ability to make independent decisions regarding patient care.
Ability to document appropriately and communicate with appropriate parties in a timely manner.
Ability to complete charts in a timely manner.
Experienced in diagnosis and treatment of common medical conditions
Basic working knowledge of managed care and Medicare population
Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor
Excellent communication skills
Professional appearance.
