Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Full Time Neuro-Hospitalist to join our team at Riverside Neurology & Sleep Specialists in Newport News, Virginia.

Candidates should be eligible for medical licensure in Virginia and be Board eligible or Board Certified in Neurology. We welcome candidates at all experience levels. Ideal candidates will have experience in high-volume, high-acuity settings. The role encompasses inpatient stroke and general neurology, covering consults in the ICU, medical floors, and ER. Neuro critical care experience preferred.

Education:
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Certification(s) and License(s):
- Licensed Medical Doctor – State of Virginia
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Current DEA
- Neurocritical care training or Vascular Neurology training, Preferred
Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Collaborative approach with other physicians and providers
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide guidance to other medical staff
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- 7 on/7 off schedule with night shift call coverage on the weekends.
- In-house APP coverage 7 days/week
- Telestroke coverage support is provided for stroke alerts

- 450 bed hospital
- 2 (18) bed ICUs with a mix of neuro, surgical and medical specialties
