Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS). 2. Extensive knowledge of ICD-9-CM and CPT coding guidelines. 3. Extensive knowledge of reimbursement systems and regulations pertaining to documentation, coding, and billing. 4. Five years of hospital coding experience. 5. Excellent organization skills and effectiveness in interpersonal relationships. LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS: 1. Excellent oral and written communication skills. SKILLS: 1. Knowledge of personal computers.
