The Global Marketing & Digital Transformation organization is responsible for delivering best-in-class go-to-market performance and building thought leadership for ADI in support of business units, sales, and corporate programs, to increase opportunities for ADI solutions with the goal towards accelerating ADI’s growth.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Events and the Lead Specialist, External Events, this position as Specialist, External Events will assist in the coordination of tradeshows and support of internally hosted events. This position is expected to be a fully onsite role and is not eligible for a remote option.
The individual will have 2 years’ experience in tradeshow coordination, strong written and oral skills, and be able to work independently, quickly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for all event shipping, including coordinating with shipping vendor, packing, tracking, and returning equipment. Own relationship with internal and external shipping vendors.
- Manage corporate tradeshow property inventory and maintenance and own relationship with warehouse vendor.
- Mange uniform inventory
- Manage Event Calendars, including global event list, analog.com/events, Save the Date emails, etc.
- Create pre and post-show planning PPTs for all shows
- Collect post show metrics
- Process badge registration
- Track tradeshow presentations
- Manage hotel room blocks
- Manage meeting schedules, pre-show and onsite
- Assist with show planning, coordination of logistics, ordering of show services, tracking of invoices and budget for various tradeshows.
- Goal - Within 2 years lead multiple tier 2 and 3 tradeshows from start to finish
- Support other marketing programs and activities including internally hosted events, virtual events, and customer tech days
- Lead capture collection, upload, and metrics
- Research new event inquiries
- Manage videotaping, pre-show data collection and tracking
- Manage onsite transportation at CES
- Support onsite logistics with local unions and non-unions, teamsters, labor companies and show site vendors to implement exhibit installation and dismantle in an accurate and timely manner.
- Establish good rapport with individuals in all levels of the organization and in multiple functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related fields
- 2 years of tradeshow experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills required to interface with individuals at all levels of the company
- Self-starter, work independently
- Strong team player
- Multitasker able to manage multiple events/tasks concurrently
- Great attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
- Creative problem-solving ability
- Flexible schedule
- Willing to travel and get hands dirty – manual labor involving moving/carrying boxes
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office
