Job Description Summary Internal Audit at Lamb Weston provides a balanced perspective in identifying and mitigating risks to the achievement of the company’s strategic, operational, and compliance objectives. The Internal Audit Manager position is overseeing financial, operational, and compliance reviews throughout the company and will present results and recommendations to management. The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for developing and mentoring Senior Internal Auditors and associate team members. This flexible position is ideal for strong leaders willing to navigate ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environment. There will be significant exposure to senior management throughout the organization. Job Description Support the Company's SOX Program and overall compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and guide Senior Internal Auditors and associate team members in evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls. Identify opportunities to enhance internal controls, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency and propose solutions to Internal Audit Leaders. Develop a risk-based audit strategy and propose projects to be included on the annual internal audit plan. Oversee the entire audit process, led by the Senior Internal Auditor, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting in accordance with department and professional standards, laws and regulations. Review audit reports, prepared by the Senior Internal Auditor, summarizing findings and recommendations for management. Define project roles and responsibilities, timelines and objectives and deliver high quality, timely deliverables. Assess opportunities to utilize data to identify process insights, risks, and support audit conclusions. Assess the organization’s risks and oversee the Enterprise Risk Management (“ERM”) assessment process including gathering input from Board of Directors, executive and functional leadership. Lead and support Senior Internal Auditors through challenging conversations with internal stakeholders. Prepare quality materials to facilitate regular updates and reports to the Audit Committee. Develop and mentor Senior Internal Auditors and associate team members. Evaluate and provide feedback on the performance and development goals of Senior Internal Auditors and associate team members. Basic & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting or Information Technology preferred) Master’s of Business Administration preferred 5 years professional audit (internal or external) experience Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, or similar preferred Experience leading and overseeing the work of others related to Enterprise Risk Management, the entire audit process and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) Proficient knowledge of auditing and accounting, US GAAP, SOX, COSO 2013 Framework, PCAOB and IIA standards Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and navigate challenging conversations Ability to think critically, ask searching questions, analyze complex areas and propose solutions Ability to collaborate with local stakeholders. Ability to work remotely and independently of direct supervisor.
