We take our work personally, we do it with empathy and we're committed to making a difference. **This is an on-site, lab-based role based in North Chicago** Parexel is looking for a Biomarker Sample Operation Associate to operationally deliver on client projects by working closely with client teams. Responsibilities include planning, organizing and overseeing the collection and timely shipping of biosamples from investigator sites or centralized locations and subsequent delivery to assay laboratories or client sites. Additional responsibilities include inventory and reconciliation of client biosamples and data. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to carry out biospecimen operational responsibilities with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a scientific background in life sciences, including biosample handling responsibilities, and experience with clinical trials and LIMS, and expertise in MS Office applications. Your Skills: Client-focused approach to work Proficiency or working knowledge of LIMS (laboratory information management system) Data management experience Expertise in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Excellent oral and written communication in English Organization, attention to detail and effective time management skills with an ability to adapt to changing priorities Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-based environment and work independently when needed Your Profile: Bachelor’s Degree in scientific field or related discipline and 2 years of clinical trial experience Sample handling experience.
