D Shift- 6:00pm-6:00am- 13.5% Shift Differential

Job Summary
This position will be responsible for all activities related to set up of manufacturing equipment, materials and processes used in the production of our medical device products. This includes establishing standards, schedules, procedures and work instructions to meet required specifications. The position will also be responsible for performing process set ups, change overs and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
1. Establishes standard methods and procedures for use in setting up machines and processes
2. Assists in training operators on new equipment and technology
3. Performs machine set-ups and ensures they are operating within specified parameters
4. Maintains records and logs related to the set up process
5. Troubleshoots issues with equipment and/or processes
6. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment
7. Recommends changes and modifications to improve efficiency or reduce costs
8. Ensures adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
9. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.

• Minimum two years’ experience working in a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, medical device or food & beverage. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Knowledge of FDA regulations and GMPs required.

• Strong mechanical aptitude including knowledge of motors, pneumatics, vacuum systems, electronics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) required.

• Excellent problem solving skills required.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals required.

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal required.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and move around the warehouse.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Previous experience using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
