Part Time Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support to a woman in her own home. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for this client by offering personalized care, light housekeeping, and companionship. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others.

PLEASE NOTE: Hours are divided between multiple caregivers. Hours may range from 0 to 30, depending on schedule, and caregiver absences or illnesses. Minimum hours per week - 6.

WAGE: 16.32 to $20 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule: Part time

• Overnights - 10pm or 11:30pm to 6am, M-F and weekends
• Morning shift - 6am to 9:30am on Mondays or Fridays
• Every other Wednesday- 6am to 12pm.
• Afternoons: 6pm to 10pm or 11:30pm
• Fill-in Shifts: am, pm, or overnight, depending on call-ins and scheduled vacations.
• Times are somewhat flexible. Current staff works as a team and able to exchange shifts if needed.
• Weekend hours preferences can be discussed with client.

Duties:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing for day or bedtime.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor vital signs to ensure client health and safety.
• Transfer client safely with a HOYER lift.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks

Experience:

• Previous experience in assisted living, home care, or similar settings is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of medication administration.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a Valid Drivers License, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
• No cigarette smokers need apply (sensitive to smell)
