At Amgen Breda, medicines are labeled, assembled, stored, and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. The Senior Associate Contracts & Pricing is part of the Global Contracts and Pricing Operations (Global CPO) team within Global Value & Access, ensuring efficient execution of pricing and contracts across 100 ex-US countries. This dynamic and global role involves ensuring correct pricing on orders, processing contractual rebate payments on time, and supporting affiliates while collaborating with teams such as IT, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and Accounting. Additionally, the role contributes to system development, reporting initiatives, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

In this vital role, you will:
- Provide timely and accurate operational support of contracts and pricing for countries within (sub)region
- Perform business testing and monitoring activities supporting pricing system changes
- Support user linking, user group access, and approval workflows
- Provide system and process training to business users (incl. creation/maintenance training materials)
- Perform SOX controls and data integrity checks
- Successfully represent the CPO team in cross-functional projects
- Provide appropriate and accurate information and data analysis for effective decision-making
- Generate suggestions and implement new processes or process changes with direction
- Initiate and execute improvements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of contracts and pricing operations
- Attend and/or facilitate cross-functional meetings to develop and implement business solutions
- Fluency in English, both oral and written communication
- Analytical skills
- Strong skills using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and/or MS Project

Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in Contract and Pricing operations, Sales Operations, Finance, Project Management, and/or Business Operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within Amgen or the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Strong background in pricing and global contracts system platforms, including business testing
- Previous experience working with affiliates and across various cultures
- Fluency in English (oral and written) and proficiency in at least one other language
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage at various levels within the department and with internal/external stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Proven ability to work effectively in teams, demonstrating motivation, persistence, and a proactive approach
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with Tableau or other reporting tools
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability with support
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
