Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a thorough understanding of property management principles. Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, tenant relations, and facilities management.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess maintenance needs and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Oversee the leasing process, including marketing available units, conducting showings, and processing applications.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance requests and work orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants while addressing concerns or issues promptly.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Maintain accurate records related to property operations, including financial reports, tenant files, and lease agreements.
- Implement upselling strategies to maximize occupancy rates and revenue generation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative tasks related to property management, including familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and staff.
- Proficiency in office software applications; experience with CMMS is advantageous.
- Understanding of facilities management principles and practices.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A valid driver's license may be required for site visits or meetings as necessary.
