Pension Plan Retirement Plan Advancement Opportunities Employee Discounts Job Title: CT Technologist Department: Radiology Location: Unity Hospital Hours Per Week: 40hrs per week Schedule: Flexible Scheduling, Monday-Sunday SUMMARY: As a CT Technologist, your ability to empathize with patients, specialized technical skills, and dedication to quality, greatly enhances the overall success of imaging and the department as a whole. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Patient Care - Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needs. · Documentation - Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts. · Daily Maintenance - Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock and prepare rooms. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent. · NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or) must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment. · American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment. · Effective 7/16/2018 - NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Prior Radiologic Technologist experience preferred. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work in various software applications preferred. · Exceptional customer service and communication skills preferred. EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: R - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE: $31.00 - $44.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14626 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
