Prototypes, a program of HealthRIGHT 360 , is currently seeking a Children’s Clinical Therapist. The ideal candidate has experience working as part of a collaborative team within a DMH setting and possesses excellent time management and documentation skills. Additionally, this candidate will be knowledgeable about children and families, as well as the systems that surround them. Spanish speaking language ability is a plus. The Clinical Therapist I/II/III in this position will provide individual and family psychotherapy to community clients who receive Medi-Cal or are not insured. Clinical Therapist I/II/III will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, consult, and collaborate with stakeholders in the client’s well-being. Clinical Therapist I/II/III will maintain effective and timely documentation in accordance with organization and DMH standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide therapy services to clients/families, including providing services where the client lives and/or attends school.
Serve as care coordinator for clients as assigned.
Responsibilities include coordination of all services with other providers and completion of all coordinated care documentation.
Co-facilitate and lead therapeutic groups.
Assist in crisis and symptom management.
Complete DMH and internal documentation as assigned and in a timely manner.
Support resource linkage services such as assisting with housing, benefits, employment, education, transportation, childcare, medical and other needed services as developmentally appropriate.
Assist client in developing coping skills to promote achievement of developmentally appropriate milestones.
Experience with Welligent EHRS, a plus.
Spanish speaking strongly preferred, but not required.
Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
ASW, MFT Intern, DMH Waivered, Ph.D., Psy.D., or Licensed staff.
Master’s degree in related field from accredited university.
Some experience providing therapy & case management services for children and families.
Must be able to pass background/ criminal check.
Valid CA Driver License and valid CA automobile insurance.
Preferred knowledge includes: Trauma-informed care, 0-5 years old, Multidisciplinary Assessment Team.
Must complete HIPAA training.
Salary commensurate with experience and credentials
Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
Salary : $74,880 - $87,360
