We are a small but mighty Philanthropy and Marketing team. A fast paced, innovative department with a big team spirit.
The Director of Corporate and Foundation Grants provides leadership and oversight of the corporate and foundation grants program. This position is responsible for helping us tell the story of the organization and our family of programs to corporations and foundations to support our fundraising operations. As an integral member of the Philanthropy team, s/he will research, write and report on all corporate and foundation grants.
Leads the researching and writing of proposals and coordinates outreach to foundations and businesses around HealthRIGHT 360's programmatic priority needs.
Key Responsibilities
Grant Development Responsibilities: Ensures that all parts of each proposal meet the grant requirements and that the proposal is an accurate and effective representation of the agency’s qualifications, expertise, and program design.
Project Management Responsibilities: Performs internal reviews of organizational needs and assess feasibility of obtaining external funding for project and program proposals. Attends public meetings, monitors announcements and activities of corporate giving and private foundations, and stays informed of funding opportunities that would supplement or complement the agency’s existing continuum of services. Ensures that work plans/checklists/schedules are developed for each proposal and communicated to necessary parties. Coordinates meetings with program management and fiscal teams in order to develop proposals that are viable, effective, and aligned with program operations and organizational plans for growth.
Management/Administrative Responsibilities: Creates and maintains systems for dissemination of information concerning proposal generation, funding opportunities and other grants-related information. Stays informed of industry best practices and current research; attends training workshops to develop and maintain effective working knowledge of public health and behavioral health fields. Produces proposals and delivers to the grant-making agency. Provides grant activity reports as requested for Board of Directors, Foundation Board, and management. Coordinates with Development Associate regarding all grant activities to maintain and update foundation and corporate, records in Raiser’s Edge, and department records (electronic and hard files). Works with HealthRIGHT 360’s Finance department to gather information necessary to report to corporate/foundation funders on current grant programs.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, counseling, public health, English, journalism, humanities, or related field
- At least three years of experience in grant writing, with a successful record of preparing large, complex grant proposals that resulted in awarded funds
Desired:
- Master’s degree in social work, criminal justice, public health, counseling, English, journalism, humanities, or related field
Knowledge Required:
-Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population
-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Outlook, and internet applications

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
