The Supervisor I, Transportation and Warehouse is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of transportation and warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with HealthRIGHT 360 policies and regulations. This position is in charge of supervising and coordinating all transportation between all of HealthRIGHT 360’s Northern CA’s programs. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, equipment, documents, and supplies, coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and optimizing logistical processes to meet operational goals. The supervisor will also oversee fleet maintenance, schedule deliveries, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential to maintain a seamless flow of goods and services while upholding high safety and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provides day-to-day supervision and support to warehouse staff and drivers.
Assists with training new employees on warehouse procedures, transportation policies, and safety protocols.
Monitors staff performance and provides feedback to improve efficiency and adherence to policies.
Ensures all staff have up-to-date licenses and that drivers meet agency insurance requirements.
Assists in resolving personnel issues and maintaining a positive work environment.
Transportation Coordination Responsibilities
Assigns and coordinates driver schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
Oversees routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, fueling, and cleanliness.
Ensures accurate documentation of vehicle maintenance and usage.
Assists in dispatching vehicles and responding to transportation-related needs.
Warehouse & Inventory Management Responsibilities
Oversees the receipt, storage, and distribution of in-kind donations and purchased products.
Ensures the warehouse is organized, secure, and compliant with safety standards.
Maintains inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and data entry in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Assists with sorting, evaluating, and processing donations.
Supports off-site donation screenings and furniture pickups as needed.
Aids in facility maintenance and ensures warehouse safety procedures are followed.
Administrative Responsibilities
Assists with scheduling vehicle maintenance and tracking service records.
Maintains accurate transportation records, including vehicle usage logs and invoicing.
Communicates with internal teams regarding order statuses and transportation needs.
Ensures compliance with agency policies and external regulatory requirements.
Treatment Setting Responsibilities
Conducts periodic checks on agency vehicles to ensure security and functionality.
Assists with warehouse-related tasks, including loading and unloading shipments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
High School Diploma.
Valid California Driver’s license (Class B license preferred).
Ability to clear and maintain agency vehicle insurance coverage.
Professional driving experience.
Preferably some years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge
Clear understanding of appropriate staff/client boundaries.
Knowledge of transportation equipment for physically disabled.
Knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance.
Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and internet applications.
Bilingual in threshold languages determined by the county, preferred.
