Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation seeks to hire a Scheduling Coordinator for our Inpatient Rehab Hospital, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will:
• The scheduler schedules all daily therapy-related tasks/events for therapists and inpatients in Rehabilitation, financial compliance based on insurance and Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) and monitors departmental staffing to ensure operational needs are met based on patient census.
• Evaluates daily staffing needs of inpatient units and coordinates staff
assignments to meet patient care and operational needs
• Oversees patient scheduling to ensure compliance with insurance
requirements
• Assists leadership with clerical duties and data collection
• Assists therapists with light patient tech duties, as needed (i.e., transporting
patients to/from therapy sessions and preparing/cleaning therapy gym,
space, and equipment before and after therapy sessions)
• Efficiently utilizes department resources within budgetary constraints

Qualifications include:
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation facility insurance requirements
• Scheduling patients and staff meetings
• Staffing multiple inpatient units to meet patient care needs
• Knowledge of department budgetary constraints and efficient use of resources
• Cerner electronic medical record navigation and familiarity of medical terminology
• Data collection and analysis
• Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills
• High school diploma required; College education preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience required in healthcare staffing,
scheduling, and data analysis
• Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills and English-
proficiency in producing documents free of spelling

Work Schedule:

Full Time, Sunday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Range:

$17.76 - $24.18

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.
