Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Job Location: Tehachapi, CA 93561
Job Type: Contract - 13 weeks
Job Duties:
- Preparing biological samples for testing, including tissue, blood, urine, spinal fluid, and gastric juices.
- Include blood bank functions, does not include phlebotomy duties
- Performing serological, bacteriological, biochemical, hematological, and microbiological examinations on samples.
- Conducting blood group, type, and compatibility tests, as well as full blood counts.
- Counting the cells in prepared samples, as well as microorganisms, including bacteria or parasites.
- Analyzing biochemical composition and determining the presence of drug chemicals.
- Inventorying laboratory stock and supplies, as well as ordering replenishments.
Job Requirements:
- Need recent 2 years of experience as a Clinical Lab Scientist
- Must have recent strong Blood Bank experience
- Must have an active CLS CA license
Schedule:
- Variable - Day/Night shift
- 36/40 Hours guaranteed
