Job Type : Contract - Traveler - 13 weeks
Job Duties :
Make and document vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, respiration).
Administer prescribed medications (oral, injections, topical) under supervision.
Provide patient education on health conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes.
Draw blood, collect urine samples, and perform diagnostic tests.
Communicate with patients, family members, and the medical team regarding care plans.
Assist with routine health screenings (blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring).
Provide immunizations and preventative care education.
Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality, following HIPAA guidelines.
Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments or referrals to specialists.
Job Requirements :
1 year of Outpatient Clinic experience
BLS Must be AHA - Required
Active LPN Certificate - Required
Proficiency with high volume and difficult stick IV starts and blood / lab draws
Urgent Care experience
IV certification - Required
Schedule : Day Shift
08 : 00 AM - 19 : 00 PM (variable)
EOW / Holiday required
40 Hours guaranteed in a week
Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
