Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician

Job Duties:
- Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments, trays, and medical equipment in accordance with hospital protocols and industry standards.
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as steam autoclaves, low-temperature sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, and washer-disinfectors.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness, proper function, and wear or damage; remove and report defective or missing instruments for repair or replacement.
- Assemble surgical instrument trays and sets according to procedure-specific checklists and surgeon preferences.
- Ensure all sterile items are correctly labeled, packaged, and stored, maintaining the integrity of the sterile field.
- Maintain accurate records for traceability of instruments and sterilization cycles using manual logs or digital tracking systems.
Job Requirements:
- Recent 2 years of experience as Instrument/Sterile Processing Technician.
- Must have HSPA(CRCST)/CBSPD certification
- Must have BLS (AHA)
- High School Diploma (GED)
