Sr. Visual Designer

We are seeking a talented Sr Visual Designer to join our in-house marketing team. The ideal candidate will conceptualize, adapt and execute high level concepts and creative ideas, across a full communication landscape. You will be creating work that brings complex scientific and technical ideas to life in visually captivating ways. Part of your role will also be to collaborate with marketing teams across campaign design, producing assets whilst also helping manage all design tasks across a wide range of marketing initiatives with global reach. You are equal parts conceptual thinker and detailed, meticulous doer.What you will be doing : Art direct, and design print, digital, and environmental graphics, including social media assets, brochures, online and print advertisements, experiential graphics, presentations, and field marketing toolsGenerate comprehensive on-brand design concepts and campaignsExecute ideas and concepts into functional and engaging solutions and be able to effectively communicate ideas and rationale to stakeholdersChampion our brand guidelines and forward the development and implementation of branded templates and assetsSelect and edit photographyGather creative input from departments across the globe for internal / external collateralMaintain high quality output while keeping multiple projects on track in a fast-paced environmentUse strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills to partner with members of the design, writing, channel and project management teams on a daily basis as well as stakeholders in other parts of the organizationManage, maintain, and archive graphic files using Bynder DAM (digital asset management system).Contribute to sharing best practices and helping the greater organization learn the vital nature of designParticipate in creative team brainstorming meetings to generate strong design solutionsTo be successful in this role you will need : Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, multimedia, visual arts, or related fieldMinimum of 5-7 years of design experience in an agency or in house in the biotech, life science, technology, or related industryA portfolio that demonstrates your thinking and skill sets across multiple platformsHighly proficient in all required software : Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, MicrosoftPassion for working with technical contentYou have experience working in a fast-paced environment, and are highly collaborative.Proven track record of being able to work flexibly – balancing a mix of independent projects and highly collaborative projectsStrong fundamental design skills, including expertise in design, typography, and compositionPossess strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present and sell creative ideasExceptional organization skills to meet deadlines and keep files structuredAbility to establish good working relationships and communication across diverse teamsDedication to producing great workStrong desire to understand and protect consistent application of the brandEmbrace We Before me and feedback philosophy - sharing ideas early in the ideation process and willingness to hear and act on constructive feedbackNice to have skills and background : Video, and / or motion graphics experienceBranding experiencePrevious experience working with digital asset management and project management toolsExperience with AI tools - generation of video or image contentBelow is the base pay range for this full-time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
