Service Delivery Cloud Engineer
The Role:
11:11 seeks a skilled Cloud Engineer, Service Delivery to help customers implement their services in 11:11's global cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have more than 5 years of experience as a VMware Engineer. This is a full-time remote position, and candidates in the US Central time zone will be preferred. The selected candidate will report to the Manager, Service Delivery Engineering and will be responsible for implementing various VMware technologies, including BaaS, DraaS, and IaaS.
What You’ll Do:
- Primarily responsible for customer experience during the onboarding process.
- Provide complete ownership and accountability of all responsibilities assigned during customer implementation projects.
- Work with project managers to complete assigned tasks.
- Complete deployment projects using 11:11 best practices.
- Communicate effectively with customers, sales team, and project team.
- Document steps taken, problems incurred, and resolution of issues for customer review.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Foster communication and transparency through all 11:11 teams and staff involved in the sale and delivery of projects.
- Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values.
- Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies.
- Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgments.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Who You Are & What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's or University degree in a related field of study or 5 years of work experience.
- 5 years of recent experience as a technical, hands-on VMware or Infrastructure engineer.
- Enterprise customer-facing technical support experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of VMware’s vSphere and vCloud Director.
- Experience with the Veeam Backup and Recovery product suite, Cohesity, or similar backup and replication products.
- Experience with large-scale virtualization clusters with hundreds of VMs per cluster.
- Experience working with global data center environment is preferred.
- Manage and troubleshoot networking configurations, including switches, firewalls, load balancers, and IPSEC VPNs for customer deployments is preferred.
- Professional experience in consulting or other enterprise customer-facing technical support role is preferred.
- Working Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to Automate processes and builds where possible to reduce manual effort.
- Excellent communication, high energy, a positive attitude, and aptitude for professional growth are key in customer-focused roles.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the USA without visa sponsorship.
