$0.00 - $0.00This is a full-time, year-round position responsible for placement and management of PA students on clinical rotations, collaboration with clinical preceptors, and course management of clinical year courses.The Center for Physician Assistant Studies at Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time faculty member to serve as a Clinical Coordinator. The Clinical Coordinator's duties include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling students for clinical rotations
- Collaborating and communicating with preceptors to ensure high-quality rotation experiences
- Serving as a course director for clinical year courses
- Participating in continuous quality improvement practices for the Clinical Year curriculum
- Manage student evaluations
As a faculty member, the Clinical Coordinator will also take part in programmatic review and accreditation processes, admissions, student advisement, and some didactic education as able and needed. Institutional committee participation will be encouraged as the Clinical Coordinator gets settled.
