ROLE SUMMARY: The Jacksonville Brewery is the heart of beer production in the Southeastern United States, we are looking for skilled Production Operators to join our weekend relief team. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Effectively and safely operate high speed production equipment. Maintain operation of production machinery by troubleshooting faults and resolving issues independently. Industrial cleaning and sanitation. Fork truck operation. Inspect nonconforming product. Additional duties as assigned. Record and interpret process data. Perform process quality control checks. Coordinate with Maintenance to perform proactive and reactive adjustments and repairs. Must be available to work all shifts on any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, for 5-7 days per week. Shifts are as follows: Midnights – 11PM to 7AM Days – 7AM to 3PM (for training only) Afternoons – 3PM to 11PM Some shifts may be up to 12 hours per day This position is not eligible for any benefits unless meeting the terms of the 401(K) plan. 40 hours of work per week are not guaranteed every week. However, there may be opportunity to be scheduled up to 7 days per week, depending on business needs. Our facility is a Unionized workforce. Prior high-speed manufacturing, warehousing, or related experience preferred Mechanical aptitude or experience with mechanical systems preferred. Ability to engage in physical activities and manual labor, as required, including but not limited to: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling and bending. Must be able to left items up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates.
