Position Highlights: Position: Diabetes Care & Education Specialist Hourly Pay Range: $30.46 - $45.69. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Location: Skokie, IL Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week) Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM Required Travel: May need to travel to Bannockburn office - rarely A Brief Overview: As a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist Certified, you will serve as a crucial resource in diabetes care, education, and support for patients living with diabetes. You will provide individualized diabetes education, facilitate self-management, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance the quality of life for individuals with diabetes. What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or related field if Dietitian OR Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher if Registered Nurse. 2 Years of clinical experience in diabetes management or a related field.
