Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant (MA/PSA) - Community Health Center - Evanston

Position: MA/PSA Location: Evanston - Community Health Center Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm Required Travel: N/A Benefits: In additional to medical, dental and vision benefits: Tuition Reimbursement (Up to $5000 a year) Limeade Wellness Program (Up to $400 a year) Health Savings Account Options Retirement Options Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay What you will need: Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required. Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required. Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
