Duties
- Install and configure satellite communication equipment, including antennas and receivers.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing satellite systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity and performance.
- Conduct fiber splicing and low voltage wiring tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of installations and service calls.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients during installations or repairs.
- Document all work performed, including installation details and service reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in satellite technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience in computer networking, including knowledge of Ethernet protocols.
- Strong electrical skills with the ability to work with telecommunication systems.
- Familiarity with Cisco routers and network installation practices.
- Experience in field service roles, demonstrating the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of fiber splicing techniques is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
