Job Description
The Recreation Aide is responsible for:
- planning, implementing, and evaluating therapeutic and diversion programs
- documenting resident participation in activities
- coordinating and participating in general resident care
The Recreation Aide will assist in:
- Fundraising efforts for the department
- Liaising with stakeholders (e.g. school, service clubs)
- Facilitating resident, family and volunteer interaction.
The Recreation Aide will:
- Obtain feedback from customers and implement improvement strategies and recommend improvement activities
- Carry out all assigned training and duties in compliance with applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislation and company policy.
- Respect and preserve the privacy, confidentiality and security of resident and workers' personal and health information.
