Responsibilities
- Provided customer service to members and students, supporting the WorkForce 2000 Program Unit.
- Input student enrollment documents, contact information, and attendance records into Excel.
- Assist with program scheduling, managing calendar activities, overseeing supply inventory, handling mailings, and compiling data.
- Follow up with members and students about program forms and attendance through e-mail and phone calls.
- Maintain and update program Excel database, e-mail, and phone information.
- Review and audit program files.
- Provide support for program events and special projects.
- Provide onsite support and build relationships for the Summer Work Internship Program, Saturday Academic Program at NYU, and other fieldwork activities that support the program's mission.
- Perform special projects and assignments as directed.
- High School Diploma or GED; some college or degree preferred
- Must have two (2) years of experience in clerical support role in general or office environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with providers, members, and team members
- Basic skills level in MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- High level initiative and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be able to work independently and be a team player
- Must be organized and detail-oriented highly organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to work flexible hours, some weekends and evenings required
