Responsibilities:

Wear and utilize all required PPE appropriate for the task and work area.

Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, company policies, and standard operating procedures.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

Operate rubber molding presses and associated machinery per production specifications.
-
Prepare and create rubber preforms as needed.
-
Load and unload materials into molds and presses.
-
Clean, inspect, and lubricate molding tools to ensure longevity and proper performance.
-
Inspect molded parts visually and with gauges to ensure conformance to quality standards.

Follow process documentation and work instructions accurately.

Load components accurately into assembly machines.
-
Remove finished assemblies and transfer them to the appropriate location or station.

Perform quality checks using visual inspections and basic measuring tools.

Package finished goods to meet customer and shipping requirements.

Support production flow by executing tasks in accordance with assembly procedures.

Monitor machine controls, settings, and operations to ensure compliance with production specs.

Identify and report equipment issues or irregularities to supervisors immediately.

Accurately record production output and downtime in paper and/or digital systems.

Enter operational data into computer systems with attention to detail.

Participate in team-based problem solving and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Suggest and support process improvements for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Work collaboratively with team members across shifts to maintain production flow and product consistency.
Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, press operating, or mechanical assembly role.

Familiarity with rubber molding or similar production processes.
-
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and follow technical instructions.

Capable of using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, gauges, rulers) for quality inspection.

Basic computer literacy for data entry and machine interface interaction.

Experience in rubber molding or automotive assembly operations.
-
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or 5S principles.
-
Forklift or pallet jack certification.
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or production schematics.
-
Ability to stand for extended periods (8–12 hours).

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr.
